Other Surgical Operations

Septoplasty

“Septoplasty” (septum deviation surgery) is the surgical operation in which bone and cartilage tissues are arranged in cases where the nasal septum is in a curved position and septum deviation is observed for various reasons. During this operation, the bone tissues that prevent breathing are removed and the existing cartilage tissues are rearranged and positioned accordingly.

Prominent Ear Aesthetic Surgery

If prominent ear surgery was not performed in childhood, it can be easily performed in later ages. While general anaesthesia is preferred in children, local anaesthesia is the method preferred in adults. The operation takes between 1 and 2 hours on average and the patient is discharged on the same day.

Face Lift

Especially with aging, some natural changes take place in the appearance of the face. As the skin loses its elasticity over time, it becomes looser. Besides, while fat deposits decrease in some areas, an increase is observed in some other areas. At this point, face lift surgeries can provide benefits to achieve the desired appearance. Face lift (rhytidectomy) surgeries performed to provide a younger appearance to the face are mostly cosmetic operations. Face lift surgery can be performed for making folds on the cheeks more distinctive, clarification of sagging and smile lines, sagging in the mouth and chin area, and sagging and wrinkles around the eyes.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

While many different methods can be applied in brow lift surgeries, the most frequently applied and most popular method is the procedures performed with the help of micro cameras called endoscopes, without leaving a trace through a small incision. It can be easily applied in hospital operating room conditions under general or local anaesthesia supported by sedation. Endoscopic brow lift surgeries can be performed by opening small holes at several different points in the inner parts of the scalp. Thanks to this method, the formation of scars that occurs in the previous methods is prevented and the recovery period is much shorter with less swelling. In addition, much more permanent results can be obtained with endoscopic brow lift, when compared to the non-surgical applications.

Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty surgery is usually performed under local anaesthesia, while General anaesthesia is preferred if the patient avoids local anaesthesia or there are other surgical interventions required to be performed simultaneously. The operation takes approximately one hour for both eyelids, and the patient can be discharged immediately after the operation.
